Eloy Morales, a renowned Spanish painter, put paint on his face and clicked a couple of pictures.
At first look, the series of pictures look like the aftermath of an explosion in a paint factory.
But, it isn't. They are actually oil paintings that the artist have created. Yes, you read that right. OIL PAINTINGS.
The images, shared on imgur, are going viral.
The Madrid-based artist, Eloy Morales, is a hyperrealist painter who first began experimenting with paint at the age of four, and his works have since been exhibited across the world.
Hyperrealism is a genre of painting and sculpture resembling high-resolution photographs that became popular in Europe in the early 2000s.
The Spanish artist had created the series last year.
In an interview to Daily Mail earlier, Morales said, "'It's a conceptual self-portrait, a reflection of my complex relationship with paint."
