This study might leave you with mixed emotions. Gallup's latest study of the world's most emotional countries shows that Latin America leads the pack with Bolivia and El Salvador ranking as the happiest counties.

India finishes 88th, while Bangladesh has been ranked as one of the least emotional countries with 37 per cent of the votes polled.

The daily emotions of 1,000 people in 148 countries were measured in 2014. Gallup's scale of measurement included accounting for five negative and five positive emotions on the previous day. Respondents were asked if they felt stressed, angry or sad, while the positive experiences asked about included feeling well-rested, treated with respect, and smiling amongst other emotions. The most and least emotional countries are based on the rankings of the average "yes" responses to all questions.
