SONEPAT: A 21-year-old national level wrestler was found murdered and his body with multiple stab wounds, which was stuffed inside a gunny sack, was recovered outside Kakroi village in Sonepat on Wednesday, police said.

The victim Hansraj went for morning walk on Monday. His body was recovered from the gunny sack outside the village today, they said.

The body has been sent for post mortem and investigation is underway, police said, adding a large number of police force was deployed in the village following the recovery of the body.

Irate villagers alleged that five similar incidents had taken place in the village previously and demanded that those involved in the killing must be arrested at the earliest, police said.
