Over the past two days, Twitter has been abuzz with the photos of 'godwoman' Radhe Maa in a gaudy red miniskirt and a matching beret. Shared by BJP member and reality television star Rahul Mahajan on Wednesday evening, these pictures went viral quickly and are still being circulated on social media at the time of writing.

Following this, many jokes were made at the expense of Radhe Maa. However, the best joke, as is now almost routine, came from actor Rishi Kapoor.

The joke, of course, is on famed music director Bappi Lahiri's tendency to wear glittery jewelry and tons of make-up, which is what Radhe Maa is also known for.

According to NDTV, Radhe Maa's real name is Sukhvinder Kaur is believed to be in her fifties and the mother of three. She is a controversial figure, who has been accused of dowry harassment by a woman in Mumbai. The woman alleged that her husband's family tortured her on the godwoman's advice and forced her to serve Radhe Maa, do chores for her and give her massages.
