How To Get The Rainbow Filter On Your Facebook Display Picture

How To Get The Rainbow Filter On Your Facebook Display Picture
Facebook

You may have noticed that your timeline on Facebook is flooded with profile pictures of friends that now have rainbow filters. The rainbow flag is a powerful symbol of hope and inclusion for the LGBTQ community.

Social media is a riot of violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red since yesterday after the US Supreme Court, in a historic ruling, legalised same sex marriage across the nation. Gay people can get now married in all 50 states of America.

Do you want to change your DP so it includes the rainbow filters too?

Here's how.

Add a little rainbow to your Facebook profile photo, w/ a tool we built for Pride -- & now #marriageequality! https://t.co/piz2lLvby6

— Liz Heron (@lheron) June 26, 2015

Once you log into Facebook, go to this page - facebook.com/celebratepride

It gives you a preview of how your profile picture will look. One you click on the button 'use as profile picture', a rainbow filter will be added to your normal DP.

Ta-da! This is how your profile will look after you are done.
