Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is now selling its One 64 GB (Black) handset on Flipkart for Rs 19,998. Previously the brand has only been available on Amazon India, where it sold over two lakh devices.

The 64 GB version will sell for Rs 19,998 on Flipkart, fractionally higher than the Rs 18,998 that the 16 GB version was launched at.

The company will shortly introduce a 16 GB variant in white, said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager India, OnePlus. The company, which competes with Xiaomi, started selling its phones in India in December.

Much of OnePlus's founding team is made of former executives at Oppo, another smartphone maker. They started off selling phones through invite only, which lent exclusivity to the brand. Xiaomi had achieved the same position through flash sales. Last year OnePlus sold a million phones and wants to sell upto five times that in 2015. Carl Pei, CEO, has been in talks to raise funds with Silicon Valley investors.

“We are happy to have Flipkart as our new channel partner, in a bid to expand our reach and make OnePlus One more accessible to people across the country,” Agarwal said.

The phones can be bought off-the-shelf on both Amazon and Flipkart. No invites required.
