It has only been a little over two weeks since actor Salman Khan was sentenced to 5 years in jail. The controversial star, famed for his legal wranglings, was found guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder in connection with the 2002 hit-and-run case that killed one.
However, a little after midnight, the 49-year-old star appeared in his first ever Dubsmash video along with Sonakshi Sinha, who has been using the app a lot lately along with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The popular app allows one to take short videos and dub famous movie dialogues or songs over it.
In this case, Sinha and Khan paid tribute to the former's father, action hero and MP Shatrughan Sinha, in a dialogue from 'Mere Apne' (1971). The video was posted on Twitter by Sinha.
Khan received bail the same day he was convicted and he has resumed shooting for a film.
