NEW DELHI β With the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FDA) in Uttar Pradesh ordering Nestle India to recall a batch of Maggi noodles from shops across the country, several bachelors, hostel-dwellers and young cooks have become despondent.
A lot of people will have to strike out "cooking" from their skill set. #maggiban

According to a report, this particular batch of Maggi Noodles had a high lead content -- almost 17.2 parts per million (ppm) -- nearly seven times the permissible limit. In fact, scientists also found high levels of added monosodium glutamate (MSG), a taste enhancer, in the noodles.
If you're eating Maggi for nutrition maybe you should just not ever eat ever

I eat Maggi because:
1) I'm drunk and
2) I know it's terrible
3) Which makes it amazing

"Maggi instant noodles contained dangerous amount of lead and MSG. We had to immediately issue orders against the company," DG Srivastava, deputy inspector general of the FDA in Lucknow, told Reuters.
The social media, of course, had its own views.
