Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has launched the S60 smartphone in India at Rs12,999 today.

The phone is available on Amazon on cash on delivery, and is priced significantly higher than its flash sale contemporaries like the A6000 Plus and A7000.

The S60 sports a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The phone runs Lenovo Vibe 2.0 on top of Android v4.4 KitKat.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS, FM radio and microUSB 2.0.

The S60 has 2GB of RAM, internal memory of 8 GB, expandable via MicroSD slot that accepts 32 GB cards. It has a 13 megapixel camera on the back, and a 5 megapixel camera on the front.

Weighing 128 grams, the S60 supports Nano and Micro SIM cards on dual standby mode.

The S60 goes up against smartphones like the Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 and the Xiaomi Mi4i at this price range.
