NASA Astronaut's Vines Of India As Seen From Space Will Leave You Absolutely Spellbound

NASA astronaut Terry Virts captured some mesmerizing images of the Indian topography from space, including sparkling flashes that he explained were thurnder storms.

Be it cities lit up at night, the meandering Ganges or moonlit clouds over southeast Indian coastline — Virts' Vines on Twitter bring out the stunning beauty of India as seen from space.

Born in December 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland, Virts was selected as a pilot by NASA in July 2000.
