Sajdeh is a Mumbai-based sports events manager who also happens to manage his cricket engagements.

According to media reports, Sharma's proposal to Sajdeh was truly romantic. He did it at Borivli Sports Club in Mumbai, a place that holds a special significance for him, since he began his career from there.

The couple, both 28 years old, has known each other for the last six years.

Sharma, who was clearly overcome with emotions after his team's win against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Mohali yesterday, dedicated his victory to his fiancée publicly, on Twitter.

This win is for you fiancée @ritssajdeh 😍😍😍

Sajdeh thanked him and said Sharma was her "happily-ever-after".

Aaww my happily ever after ❤️ @ImRo45

Sharma is the record holder for the highest runs scored in one day international cricket history — 264 against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens.
