Log in to Google today, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by a special song by musician Karen O of the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs composed on the occasion of the 151st birth anniversary of veteran American journalist Nellie Bly.

Born Elizabeth Jane Cochrane, Bly was famous for making a trip around the world in 72 days in the year 1889. She is also considered one of the pioneers of investigative journalism and wrote an exposé about a mental asylum by faking insanity and checking herself in the institution.

The doodle, a neat YouTube video, tells Bly's story by using a print-themed animation designed like vintage newspaper articles.

Bly is considered a legendary journalist, as she was America's first female war corespondent. She covered the World War I from Austria.

Bly passed away from pneumonia at the age of 57 in the year 1922.
