It has been five years since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen in a movie (her last release was 2010's 'Guzaarish'). For her comeback film, 'Jazbaa', the actress has been shooting indoors thus far.

However, on Sunday, Bachchan was spotted shooting in public for the first time in years. The scene, which involved her getting out of a car hurriedly to make a phone call, was shot in front of the historic Asiatic Society Library in south Mumbai.

Despite having kept the shoot on a Sunday, a reported crowd of approximately 5,000 gathered around the area to watch the former Miss World shoot for 'Jazbaa', which is being directed by Sanjay Gupta ('Kaante', 'Zinda', 'Shootout At Wadala'). Aside from managing that many people, the crew had to contend with Mumbai's sweltering weather, with temperatures in the mid-30s (degree Celsius) and high humidity.

Gupta even took a picture of the road to show exactly how bad the heat was.

The day, which began at 7.30 am, finally ended at 4 pm, with the crew on a month-long break till the Cannes Film Festival, where Bachchan will be presenting the film's poster.
