Salman Khan delighted his fans by turning playback singer for last year's 'Kick' (totally not auto-tuned) and he's all set to do that all over again.
The 49-year-old superstar, whose vocals were last heard in 'Hangover', will be lending his voice to a song from Nikhil Advani's 'Hero', which is a remake of the 1983 Subhash Ghai movie. The song is in the style of a ballad and features the film's lead couple, Sooraj Pancholi (actor Aditya Pancholi's son, making his debut) and Athiya Shetty, reported Mumbai Mirror on Tuesday.
This song shall feature at the end of the film, which is being produced by Khan. Singer Palak Muchhal will be singing this duet, called 'O Khuda' along with the actor. According to the composer of the song, Amaal Malik, it is a larger-than-life song a'bout two lovers against the world and will suitably include grand arrangements, such as the usage of violins and cellos. " The fact that Sooraj is lip-syncing to Salman's voice makes the song really big and parts of it will be used in the background score through the lovers' journey," he told Mirror.
