J&K High Court Bar Association Goes On Strike

The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association today observed a day-long strike in all the courts across Jammu region to protest against the separatist leaders who waved Pakistani flags in Srinagar.

The Association also held protests against the separatist leadership, demanding stern action against them for their "anti-national" activities.

"The advocates in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Jammu and all other subordinate courts observed a day-long strike and held protests against the separatist leaders for their anti-national activities," president of the Bar Association, Jammu, Abhinav Sharma said.

He said the work across all the courts in Jammu region were suspended following the strike call given by the Bar Association.

"The anti-national activities cannot be tolerated and we strongly condemn such activities that are detrimental to the national interest," he said.
