When Zomato Had A Perfect Comeback For A Twitter Taunt By Amazon India

The restaurant discovery app Zomato, which now operates in 22 countries globally, has recently been lampooned for their experimentation with their logo. When the company acquired the much larger Urbanspoon in the US, it adopted the acquired company's logo, to prevent app uninstalls. But many users in India said they saw a sperm rather than a spoon in the Urbanspoon logo. Company's whizkid CEO Deepinder Goyal was asked this during his roller-coaster AMA on Reddit India as well.

Amazon India decided to taunt Zomato a bit, using this background and pegging it to their new catchy #AurDikhao campaign. Zomato came back with a pitch-perfect response.
