NEW DELHI — Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor made it official that he is definitely getting married in 2015.
There were reports earlier this week that the 'Haider' star got engaged to a Delhi-based college girl and that the couple were planning to get hitched by December this year.
From what little is known about the mystery woman Kapoor is getting married to, here are six things reported in the media about Kapoor and Rajput:
Relationship status:
In an interview to PTI, Shahid confirmed that he is indeed getting married, although he isn't yet engaged. "Marriage is on the cards sometimes towards the end of the year. I refrain from getting into details. I hope you respect that. I thought it was important for me to acknowledge it in front of the media, so I am doing this," he said.
Who is the mystery woman?
According to an NDTV report, Mira Rajput is a young Delhi-based woman in her third year at Delhi's prestigious Lady Shri Ram College. She also reportedly lives with her family in Chhatarpur, a suburb in Delhi.

How did Kapoor and Rajput meet?
According to the NDTV report, the couple met through the Radha Soami Satsang, a religious group to which their families belong.
School and college:
According to a Bombay Times report, Mira did her schooling from Delhi's Vasant Valley School. The report added that she's studying English (Hons) in LSR college.
How old is Rajput?
According to a CNN-IBN report, Mira is allegedly 13 years younger than Shahid — which would make her about 21 years old.
The news of their wedding:
According to a Deccan Chronicle article, Mira spoke about her relationship with Shahid to a very close friend. But the friend leaked the information to the media. When the news broke out, Mira started removing all her friends from Facebook who she thought might "break her trust". Now, even her Instagram account is strictly private.
Without divulging further details about his impending wedding and his would-be bride, Kapoor told PTI that he would like everyone to treat them like any other normal couple.
"Other than that I am just a normal guy and she is a normal girl. We should treat it like something that is normal and regular. And I am very happy to announce this," said the actor.
