Heartbreaking: IAS Officer DK Ravi's Dog Mourns His Death

It was a heartbreaking sight for many, as a beloved pet mourned the loss of its master.

Bangalore-based IAS officer DK Ravi, who was found dead on Monday, is mourned by one such pet. Ravi, posted as Karnataka's additional commissioner, commercial tax, was found dead in his official apartment. While the police have said it appears to be a case of suicide, prima facie, angry locals have been protesting and demanding an independent probe.

While the investigating officers were trying to unravel the mysterious circumstances of the noted officer's death, his pet dog was seen sitting quietly by his master's body, mourning his loss.

While the family of the officer demanded a CBI probe, Karnataka state home minister KJ George made it clear after a cabinet meeting that there was no change in the stand of the government, which has come under attack from the opposition and others for "stonewalling" central probe.
