Different people have different ways to deal with a stressful situation. Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi, who was arrested on Sunday for a pub brawl and released later on bail, allegedly broke into 'situational songs' and shouted 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' inside the courtroom, according to a report in the Mid-Day.

The paper quoted sources as saying that "As soon as he entered the courtroom, he started shouting 'Ganpati Bappa Morya'. That was followed by a series of situational songs and digs directed at lawyers and mediapersons."

The judge wasn't around when Pancholi is said to have pointedly sung 'Tu na Hindu banega na Musalman' and 'Sajan re jhoot mat bolo' at waiting journalists and refused to share a bench with the other convicts.

The Mid-Day report said he even tried to walk out of the courtroom on the pretext of getting some fresh air.

According to an IANS report, Pancholi, 50, allegedly assaulted a bouncer around Saturday midnight in an inebriated state at the Trilogy Pub in Hotel Sea Princess, adjacent to the Juhu Beach.

The report stated that Pancholi had asked the DJ to play some of his favourite Hindi movie songs but was turned down.

He had a loud argument with the DJ and even caused some damage to the pub counter, following which the hotel security staff intervened and asked the actor to leave the premises. Enraged by this, Pancholi abused and pushed the security guard, Mandar Patole, 28, and whacked him on the head with his mobile even as he was being escorted out of the hotel.

The Santacruz police, who were summoned by the hotel, whisked him away and after conducting a medical test, placed him under arrest early on Sunday.

He was charged under various sections pertaining to criminal intimidation, public nuisance and breach of peace, and assault charges by the Santacruz police.

Later on Sunday afternoon, he was presented in a magistrate's court at Bandra, which granted him bail after judicial remand. This is not the first time that Pancholi has found himself in trouble. In 2003, he was booked for attacking his neighbour following a parking brawl at his housing society in Versova.

Last year, he allegedly roughed up a woman journalist for asking uncomfortable questions about his son, Sooraj Pancholi.
