Senior Indian politicians paid their last respect to veteran journalist and author Vinod Mehta at the Lodhi Crematorium in New Delhi on Sunday. Congress leader Ahmed Patel, former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, BJP patriarch LK Advani and Congress President Sonia Gandhi were among those present at the venue. Mehta, 73, passed away on Sunday. Mehta had founded the Outlook Magazine and has served as its Editor-in-Chief. The last post he held was that of editorial Chairman of the publication.
