MWC 2015: Lenovo Unveils Vibe Shot, A7000, Pocket Projector

Lenovo added three new devices to its mobile portfolio at MWC in Barcelona today, the new VIBE Shot, A7000 smartphone and the Lenovo Pocket Projector.

Priced at $349 USD, the VIBE Shot caters to shutterbugs, with a 16-megapixel rear camera featuring a six-piece modular lens, and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. The camera features a low-light sensor, tricolour flash, optical image stabilisation, infrared focus and a physical shutter button.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the smartphone features 5-inch Full HD display, LTE connectivity, 32 GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot that accepts cards up to 128 GB. The Vibe Shot runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is available three colours — red, white and grey.

Priced at $169, Lenovo A7000 is the world’s first phone to incorporate Dolby Atmos technology, which the company claims will help music become “more vivid… with astonishing clarity, richness and depth.” The A7000 has a 5.5-inch HD display running Android 5.0 on a MediaTek True8Core processor, supports 4G LTE networks and two SIMs. Weighing 140 grams, the A7000 comes in two colors: Onyx Black and Pearl White.

Priced at $249, the Lenovo Pocket Projector can be paired with a compatible Android device to supersize movies, photos and presentations to a size of 110-inches. The accessory can be paired with smartphones via DLNA or Miracast, it also accepts most multimedia file formats via MicroSD card slot.
