This Bollywood Tribute To Whiplash Will Leave You Breathless With Laughter

Much has been said and written about Terence Fletcher, the terrifying music teacher played by actor JK Simmons in the Oscar-nominated film Whiplash.

While Simmons has not been above parodying his now-iconic role on a recent episode of Saturday Night Live, the Internet has come up with several parodies, such as this howlarious mash-up that includes scenes from a number of Bollywood movies ranging from Bhoot Bungla (1965) to Rock On! (2008).

Uploaded on YouTube by user neelouli, this nearly-three-minute video features scenes that include actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, Jackie Shroff, and Amjad Khan, amongst others.

60-year-old Simmons, who has won more than 30 awards for essaying this role (including a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor), is widely tipped to pick up the Best Supporting Actor Oscar at the 87th Academy Awards, to be held on February 22.
