Adobe Celebrates 25 Years Of Photoshop With Amazing Short Film

Graphics editing software Photoshop turned 25 yesterday, and in celebration of the milestone, Adobe released a short video collage of digital artists working on the tool.

Artists sent in their most dreamlike work in PSDs which were animated and set to Aerosmith’s Dream On to create this video. The video includes Photoshop layers from 'Shrek', 'How To Train Your Dragon', Bilbo Baggins and Steven Tyler.

The first release of Photoshop was made on 19th Feb 1990. Its naming scheme was initially based on version numbers, which was then merged into the umbrella of Creative Suite, and finally, to Creative Cloud. Desktop versions of Photoshop are available for Macs, PCs, Android and iOS devices.
