'The Imitation Game' star Benedict Cumberbatch and his pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter secretly tied the knot on Valentines Day in presence of family and close friends.

The 38-year-old Oscar-nominated actor and Hunter, 36, an actress and theatre director, got married at the 12th-century St Peter and St Paul Church near Brighstone, reported Telegraph online.

Actor Andrew Scott, who plays Cumberbatch's TV nemesis, Moriarty, on 'Sherlock', is said to have been among the guests.

Hunter was shielded from cameras and onlookers by umbrellas as she entered the church. About 40 minutes later, the couple emerged to cheers and left in a vintage Jaguar. The couple decided not to pose for pictures after the service, but went straight to the reception.

Cumberbatch and Hunter, who met while filming the 2009 movie 'Burlesque Fairlytales', announced in January that they are expecting their first child.
