As India marked the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today, here are some rare photos of the men accused of his assassination listening to testimony inside a courtroom in Delhi during their arraignment in May, 1948. Gandhi was shot three times by Nathuram Vinayak Godse on his way to a prayer meeting from Birla House on January 30. The other men in the picture are Narayan Dattraya Apte, Vishnu Ramkrishna Karkare and Madan Lal, accused of exploding a bomb on January 20 outside a Gandhi prayer meeting at Birla House.
