Google's Doodle Tribute To India's 66th Republic Day

Google's Doodle Tribute To India's 66th Republic Day
Google

The Google Doodle on January 26, 2015 marks India's 66th Republic Day. Drawn in the form of a parade float, it shows India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan (Indian President's House) on top, with men and women in traditional Indian garb waving from it.

The Republic Day Parade each year has floats from different Indian states where their unique culture and traditions are exhibited. Google has used the same idea in its Doodle today.

President of United States Barack Obama is Chief Guest of the function, accompanied by his wife Michelle.
