Samsung Launches Four New Smartphones In India

Mumbai: Samsung India today announced the launch of four new mid-range smartphones - Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7. The new range of smartphones incorporate Super AMOLED screens, and will be available from mid-January.

India is the first country for the launch of Galaxy E5 and E7, which feature a polycarbonate unibody design, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, and 5 megapixel front-facing cameras. The E5 has a 8-megapixel rear camera, the E7 has a 13 megapixel rear camera.

The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 are their slimmest smartphones with full metal unibody design. The A3 has a 4.5-inch display, while the A5 has a 5-inch display. The A5 has a larger battery than the A3, and twice the RAM. The Galaxy A3 will be priced at Rs 20,500, A5 at Rs 25,500, Galaxy E5 at Rs 19,300 and E7 at Rs 23,000.
