The alleged conversion of 100 Muslims to Hindusim in Agra has now rocked the Lok Sabha for two days. The opposition reportedly raised slogans like "Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs bhai bhai" (Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs are brothers).

These conversions are dubbed as "ghar wapsi" (home coming) to suggest that these Muslims were once Hindus and now they are returning to Hinduism.

Bhartiya Janata Party MP Yogi Adityanatha described the conversions as correcting a mistake.

"Ise aap prarvartan keh sakte hain, ghar wapsi keh sakte hain, ise kisi anya tarah nahi dekhna chahiye. Agar koi apni bhool sudharkar swechha se ghar wapasi karna chahta hai to isme koi aapatti nhi honi chahiye (You can call this change or coming home, this should not be seen any other way. If someone wants to correct a mistake and go home then there should be no problem).

Social media has exploded with the "Gharwapsi" tweets.

What #Gharwapsi actually achieves is that media, polity will now be forced to examine every conversion, much of which it has been silent on
